Lauren Ancel Meyers Wins Lord Robert May Prize

08 October 2013—Lauren Ancel Meyers, Director of the Division of Statistics and Scientific Computation, has been awarded the 2nd Lord Robert May Best Paper Prize for her article, "The Dynamic Nature of Contact Networks in Infectious Disease Epidemiology."

This prize was awarded to the best paper from the 2009, 2010 and 2011 volumes of the Journal, and was selected by the Editors of Journal of Biological Dynamics and the prize selection committee.

Meyers' paper is co-authored by Sweta Bansal, Jonathan Read, and Babak Pourbohloul, and was published in the 2010 volume of the Journal.

The prize includes a monetary award of £100.
